Here are a bunch of our recent pics. Some of you have asked why we don’t post as much as we used to. There are a bunch of answers: Tumblr sucks; we’ve posted so much pornography that we think we’ve saturated the market; we’ve not met as many people as we once imagined we’d meet; we’ve moved onto other pursuits; we’re just not as inspired as we used to be. These answers are not exclusive and many overlap. 

When we first started posting our smut, it seemed like Tumblr had a vibrant amateur smut community. Now it seems like a ghost town. Our favourite messages used to say, “You inspire me [or us] so much that we made our own amateur smut Tumblr, please check it out!” It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten one of those messages. There are still good amateur smut Tumblrs, like Let Me Do This, but they’re exceptions. 

We’re less interested in Tumblr and more interested in writing. If you think about it, anyone can post decent amateur nudes. Well, not quite anyone, but a whole lot of people have bangin’ bodies and okay cameras. Not everyone can tell you what it’s really like to visit a sex party, because most people have never been and never hosted. So we write more and photo less. 

Our experience looking at Tumblr versus Medium shows how Tumblr is decaying. Our most recent piece, “The surreal moments at sex parties,” saw only about 4 – 5% of its readers come from Tumblr. Why bother, especially when Tumblr itself is pushing against us by removing us from search engine rankings and killing our ability to be seen by users who aren’t logged in?

There are still 1,000+ pics here and hours of our amateur sex tapes. People who want that can find it. Some of our most popular pics and videos do keep getting circulated around Tumblr, which is great and flattering. Tumblr as a community, however, feels dead. RIP. Onto the future.
